Come watch Saturday, October 13 - 10 am
Winter is coming soon. Itís time for the koi and
turtle in the lily pond between the Belle Isle
Aquarium and Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory
to be taken inside. So Saturday, October 13 the
Friends of Belle Isle Aquarium, members of the
Belle Isle Botanical Society and City of Detroit
floriculture staff will join forces to winterize
the koi and turtle. The move starts at 10:00 am
and will last for several hours as the move must
be done gradually for the safety of the fish.
Come on down to Belle Isle and watch this
exciting event in action.

Without the help of the Friends the animalsí
