Aquarium clean-up, 1/31/2009

The response to help clean up the Belle Isle Aquarium was overwhelming. People came from Detroit and the suburbs with mops, buckets, soap and sponges - all of them eager to contribute to the re-opening of Detroit's Aquarium. For the first time in four years, these select few got to be the first to take a good look into the one of Detroit's most beloved institutions, and help shine it up before it is opened  to the public for the "Shiver on the River" on Saturday, February 7th. To all of you who helped - thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
