Do we need a new Super Aquarium?

Since 1986 the amount of major aquariums has gone from 17 to 37.
There are 20 in the process of being constructed.

It's the simple law of diminishing returns.

Did you know only two of these aquariums actually make a profit?

Does the impact study so often touted by Zoo Director Ron Kagan include that factor in its formula?

Are Detroiters ready to pay the $20.00 a visit it's going to cost to maintain the Aquarium?

Finally - where are the millions of dollars necessary to create this Super Aquarium? It is folly to remove what you have for what is a distant, incoherent vision.
